Description
The present study focuses on presenting and analyzing the competitive positions that Bulgaria holds in the field of education, using data on competitiveness calculated according to the methodology of the International Institute for Management Development. Compared to European Union member states, the economy of Bulgaria is characterized by a growing need to improve results in the rankings. This is supported by highlighting the main weaknesses in the implemented state educational policy by tracking the dynamics of selected key indicators in this area. The variables directly affect early childhood development, school and higher education.
