Теоретични основи на аграрните иновации

Abstract

Agriculture innovations have a major role in the development of the agriculture sector, in the presence of scarcity of resources and the increasing demands of society for safety, quality and sufficient quantity of agricultural commodities at affordable prices. Implementation of innovation will contribute to the increased competitiveness of Bulgarian agriculture. The main aim of the paper is to analyze the theoretical and empirical literature that explores and evaluates agricultural innovations, focusing on the different sub sectors. Various authors’ views and definitions of agricultural innovation are summarized. The effect of agricultural innovation is based on researches of possible innovations and their impact on the agricultural sector. The expected results of the publication are to define the range of the sectors according to their possibility to adopt innovations in their activities. The data used in the report is based on a literature review and expert study.
