Financial sector impact on consumer electronics supply chain - the case of UK retail company

Abstract

This paper presents the business model of a UK consumer electronics retailer - shifting traditional consumer electronics supply chain, and adapting it to the trending Circular Economy as a possible way to create an attractive value chain mapping across multiple typically non connected sectors such as Finance, Insurance, Telecoms, Retailers, 3PL partners, 4R Specialised companies. Turning limited hardware resources into a scalable and profitable business model where all parties win - happy consumers, reduced environmental impact, increased corporate profits.
