Abstract

This article looks at the state of corporate debt in one of the most dynamic economic sectors in Bulgaria in the last 11 years - Real Estate Transactions. Particular attention is paid to intercompany debt as an indicator of the so-called debt risk and problem. The statistical sample is large, using data for over 20,000 enterprises, part of the sector. In addition to analyzing the absolute values of debt, key relative indicators are also considered, allowing comments and conclusions to be drawn about corporate debt levels in the sector. There is a try for comparison with other key sectors.
