Развитие на възобновяеми енергийни източници в Област Кюстендил

Abstract

The paper discusses the development of renewable energy sources (RES) in the framework of the green economy. Socio-economic data about Kyustendil District and its municipalities is summarized. The development of alternative energy sources in the district is presented as well. The results of two surveys are analyzed – of entrepreneurs concerning RES usage, competitiveness, innovations, transborder cooperation, and of representatives of administration concerning RES.
