Abstract

The development of Green Infrastructure in the Southern Central Region is an element determining the habitat and the flora and fauna. It in itself is a link between the social system and the biosphere and is part of the natural sustainable development, the improvement of quality of life and the prosperity of the South Central Region, Green Infrastructure’s purpose is to maintain and restore the ecosystem in the area, respecting the requirements of “Natura-2000”. The green infrastructure in the area is associated with enormous landscape diversity and it is a major resource for the development of socio-economic and environmental activities in the area.
