Abstract

Provides a comprehensive, up-to-date, interdisciplinary literature review on food waste at consumer level. A unique fusion of consumer behavior, public policies and sustainability management to tackle food waste from a multiple perspective. Proposes a new theoretical framework with the aim to better explain food waste behaviour. Offers for the first time a lists and a categorization of the main initiatives and public policies to tackle food waste useful for both researchers, practitioners and policy makers
